Update Any Value Across Your Entire Workflow in a Few Clicks

If you've ever needed to update a tag or custom value that appears in multiple places across a large workflow, you'll know exactly how tedious that is. Open an action, find the value, change it, close it, move to the next one, repeat.

That's no longer how it has to work.

What's New

The Workflow Builder now has Find and Replace. You can search for any custom value, tag, or text across an entire workflow and replace supported items - one match at a time, or all at once.

It works on both the Standard Builder and the Advanced Builder.

How to Use It

Click the search icon in the Workflow Builder or press Alt+F on Windows or Option+F on Mac to open the Find panel.

From there:

1. Choose whether you want to search by custom values, tags, or text.

2. Enter what you're looking for.

3. Matching results appear instantly - the builder jumps to the first result on the canvas automatically.

4. Move through results and the canvas follows, taking you to each matching node.

5. Switch on Replace to choose a replacement value from the custom value picker.

6. Apply it to the current match only, or use Replace All to update every supported instance in the workflow at once.

If you change your mind, you can undo the changes straight away.

What You Can and Can't Replace

Replace works for custom values and tags. Text search is available for finding step names and trigger names, but replacing those isn't supported in this version. Search is case-insensitive and supports partial matches, so you don't need to type the full value to find it.

Why This Saves Real Time

Large workflows can have the same value or tag used across dozens of actions. When something changes - a tag gets renamed, an email address is updated, a custom value is swapped out - going through every action manually is slow and easy to get wrong.
