Understand Workflow Triggers at a Glance
How It Works
ESC Hub has added built-in descriptions to workflow triggers, making it easier to understand exactly what each trigger does and when it will fire.
When creating or editing automations in the Workflow Builder, each trigger now includes a clear, human-readable explanation. This description appears directly inside the trigger selection interface so you can quickly understand how it behaves.
Instead of needing to test triggers or search through documentation, you can now see exactly what a trigger does before adding it to your workflow.
These descriptions appear whenever you browse, select, or edit triggers in your workflows.
How to Use It
To view trigger descriptions:
Open Automations → Workflows in ESC Hub.
Create a new workflow or edit an existing one.
Click Add Trigger.
Browse the available triggers and review the description displayed for each one.

This helps you choose the correct trigger without needing to guess or experiment.
Why This Matters
Workflow automation often depends on choosing the right trigger.
In the past, some triggers could be confusing, especially for users who were new to building automations.
With clear descriptions now built directly into the Workflow Builder, ESC Hub users can:
Understand how triggers work instantly
Reduce mistakes when building automations
Build workflows faster and with more confidence
Spend less time searching documentation
It’s a small change that makes automation setup much more intuitive.
