Rich Text Editing Comes to Workflow Notes
How It Works
We’ve upgraded the Add Notes action inside ESC Hub workflows with a built-in rich text editor.
Instead of plain text notes that turn into walls of words, you can now format your notes directly inside the workflow step. That means bold text for key points, lists for clarity, links to supporting docs, and cleaner structure overall.
The note is saved exactly as formatted and appears anywhere workflow notes are visible, making it easier to scan, understand, and act on.
How to Use
To start using rich text notes in your workflows:
Open any workflow inside ESC Hub.
Add or edit an Add Notes action.
Type your note as usual, then use the toolbar to apply formatting such as bold, italics, underline, strikethrough, bullet points, numbering, or links.
Save the workflow. Your formatted note will now appear on the contact record exactly as created.

Why This Matters
Workflow notes are often used for internal handovers, follow-ups, reminders, or context for future actions. When those notes are hard to read, things get missed.
Rich text editing makes notes clearer, faster to scan, and far more useful. Important details stand out. Action items are obvious. Supporting links are easy to access.
This is a small update that quietly improves daily workflow efficiency, especially for teams managing high volumes of contacts.
