Give Your AI Agent Access to Your Knowledge Base in Real Time
If you use AI Agent actions in your workflows, there's a meaningful improvement now available. The AI Agent action in ESC Hub can now search your native knowledge base as a built-in tool - pulling in relevant business context during workflow execution, in real time, rather than relying on static information loaded into the prompt upfront.
What's changed
Knowledge Base Search is now available as a tool inside the AI Agent action. When active, the agent searches your knowledge base during a conversation and retrieves only the information relevant to that moment - your pricing, service details, FAQs, availability, booking rules, and more.
This replaces the previous workaround of pasting entire FAQ lists and business details directly into the system prompt, which inflated the context window and produced less accurate results.
How to set it up
Select Knowledge Base Search as a tool inside the AI Agent action
Choose which knowledge bases the agent should search
Define a static search query, or let the AI decide the query dynamically based on the conversation
Set the number of results the agent retrieves from the knowledge base
