If you're registered as a sole proprietor and you've been putting off A2P registration because the process felt complicated - this update is for you.

What's Changed

Sole Proprietor accounts can now complete A2P registration directly through the Chat Widget flow inside ESC Hub. Previously, sole proprietors had no path through this simplified process and had to navigate the longer self-serve registration instead.

That's no longer the case.

How It Works

When you go through the Chat Widget A2P registration flow, ESC Hub now automatically detects if your account is registered as a sole proprietor. Once detected, the campaign use case is pre-selected for you.

From there, you choose your message type - either Marketing/Promotional or Transactional/Non-Marketing. Based on your selection, the consent screen pre-fills automatically, so there's less to fill in manually and less room for error.

Why It Matters

A2P registration is what allows your text messages to actually reach your contacts without being filtered or blocked by carriers. Getting registered correctly - and quickly - matters for anyone using SMS as part of their business communication.

This update means sole proprietors get the same quick, guided registration path that other account types already had. Less setup time, fewer steps, and a cleaner compliance process from the start.

Log into your ESC Hub account and head to your Chat Widget settings to complete your A2P registration if you haven't already.
