Enhanced Visual Debugging in Workflows
How It Works
The Highlight Contact Path feature has been significantly upgraded with clearer visual indicators inside the workflow builder.
You can now see exactly how a contact moved through a workflow, including where errors occurred, which steps were skipped, when they entered and exited, and whether they are still in progress.
Instead of guessing what happened behind the scenes, the workflow builder now surfaces execution behavior directly in the visual path.
What’s New
Error Visibility
Nodes where errors occurred are highlighted directly in the builder, making it easier to pinpoint failure points instantly.
Skipped Node Indicators
You can see which nodes a contact bypassed during execution.
Entry and Exit Status
Clear indicators show when a contact entered and exited the workflow.
In-Progress Tracking
Identify contacts still actively moving through a workflow at a glance.
How to Use It
Open Enrollment History or Execution History.
Click the Highlight Contact Path icon.
Review the visual path showing errors, skipped nodes, entry and exit markers, and current status.

Why This Matters
Debugging automations used to require detective work.
When a contact didn’t behave as expected, you had to dig through logs and guess where something went wrong. Now, the visual path tells the story immediately.
This reduces troubleshooting time, improves confidence in automation builds, and makes it easier to analyze real contact behavior inside complex workflows.
