Put Your Chat Right Inside the Page, No Floating Bubble Needed

August 11, 2026

Up to now, most of your chat widgets could only show up as a floating bubble in the bottom-right corner. Handy sometimes, but not always what you want.

Now you can drop a chat widget straight into the page itself, sitting inline exactly where you place it. No bubble, no popup prompt, just an always-open conversation built into your page.

What landed

Embedded placement used to be limited to Live Chat and Voice AI. It now works across every supported chat type:

  • All-in-One Chat
  • Email / SMS
  • WhatsApp
  • Facebook
  • Instagram
  • Live Chat
  • Voice AI

So whether you want a chat box on a contact page, inside a funnel step, or on a support page, you can now make messaging a natural part of the page instead of a bubble people have to go looking for.

How it works

Head to the Chat Widget Builder and open any supported widget type. In the placement settings, you'll now see a choice between Sticky and Embedded.

Pick Embedded and the widget behaves differently. It opens automatically right inside the page, stays open as an inline chat, and skips the floating bubble and the initial prompt popup. It can't be minimised, so the conversation stays visible where you put it, and it uses dimensions made for sitting inside a page section.

The builder preview updates as soon as you choose Embedded, so you see the inline version straight away. Any settings that only apply to the floating bubble get tucked out of the way, so you're only looking at what actually matters for this layout.

If you're using All-in-One Chat, visitors can pick between your available channels and move between them without ever leaving the embedded chat. It all stays in one tidy spot on the page.

Where this is useful

Anywhere you'd rather chat felt like part of the page than an afterthought in the corner:

  • Landing pages and funnels
  • Website pages
  • Contact and support pages
  • AI-powered experiences
  • Any custom embedded layout you've built

Have a page where a chat box would feel more at home built in? Open the Chat Widget Builder, switch placement to Embedded, and see how it looks. It's a small change that makes your pages feel a lot more intentional.
