Add Notes Directly Inside Your Workflows
ESC Hub now includes Sticky Notes inside the Standard Workflow Builder, making it easier to document and organize your automations directly on the workflow canvas.
Previously available only in the Advanced Builder, Sticky Notes are now accessible in the Standard Builder as well.
You can place notes anywhere in your workflow to provide context, instructions, or visual organization. Sticky Notes support formatted text, colors, images, and links, allowing you to label sections, explain automation logic, or add reminders for your team.
These notes appear directly on the canvas alongside your automation steps.
How to Use It
To add a sticky note to your workflow:
Open Automations → Workflows in ESC Hub.
Open a workflow in the Standard Workflow Builder.
Select the Sticky Note tool from the builder toolbar.
Click anywhere on the canvas to place the note.
Add text, choose colors, or embed images and links.

You can resize and move notes to label workflow sections or highlight important steps.
Why This Matters
Workflows can quickly become complex, especially as automations grow and evolve.
Sticky Notes help make your automations easier to understand by allowing you to:
Document the purpose of different workflow sections
Add setup instructions for team members
Label and organize automation branches
Visually structure complex workflows
This makes it easier to collaborate, troubleshoot, and maintain automations over time.
