Your Social Planner Posts Now Support Alt Text for Every Image
Adding alt text to social media images has always meant going back into the platform after publishing to add it manually. ESC Hub has removed that extra step.
What's changed
You can now add alt text to every image directly inside the Social Planner composer before you publish. It works for single-image posts and multi-image posts and carousels - each image stores its own individual description, so you are not limited to one generic caption for the whole post.
To add alt text, upload your image in the composer, hover over it, and click Alt Text. From there you can add, edit, or remove the description before the post goes out. Images with alt text configured show a visual indicator so you can see at a glance which ones are covered.
ESC Hub automatically sends alt text to platforms that support it and skips it on those that do not - so you do not need to manage that separately.

Why it matters
Alt text makes your social content accessible to visually impaired audiences and is increasingly expected as a baseline for inclusive content. Being able to add it as part of your normal publishing workflow - rather than as a separate task after the fact - means it is more likely to actually get done.
