New Blog Your Dashboard Custom Metrics Just Got a Lot More PowerfulPost
Custom Metrics in ESC Hub dashboards have been updated with three significant additions - filters, Meta Ads as a data source, and Google Analytics as a data source. Combined, these updates let you build far more precise, cross-channel KPIs directly inside your dashboard without exporting to spreadsheets or jumping between platforms.
What's New
Filters on Custom Metrics You can now add filters to individual custom metrics in your formula. Segment by contact tag, pipeline, owner, agent, and more. For example - filter a conversion rate metric to show only contacts tagged "Customer" in a specific pipeline owned by a specific rep. Filters support multiple conditions with AND logic per metric token.
Meta Ads as a Data Source Meta Ads is now available as a data source inside the custom metric formula builder. Use Spend, Impressions, CTR, CPC, CPM, Conversions, and Reach directly in your custom KPIs - alongside your CRM data.
Google Analytics as a Data Source Google Analytics is now available as a data source. Combine GA data with your CRM metrics in one formula - for example, calculate Cost per Lead or Cost per Opportunity natively using both GA and pipeline data together.
Full-Page Builder Custom metrics now open in a full-page builder instead of a modal, giving you more room to build and review complex formulas.
How to Use It
Go to your Dashboard and open or create a Custom Metric via Edit Dashboard > Custom Metrics > Create Custom Metric. In the formula builder, click any metric token to add filters. Set your filter conditions - for example Tag = Customer, Pipeline = Sales, Owner = Rep Name. To use Meta Ads or Google Analytics data, select them from the metric picker under their respective categories. Combine metrics using the formula builder and save.

Why It Matters
Previously, building segmented KPIs like win rate by sales rep or conversion rate by lead source required exporting to spreadsheets. Now you can build those metrics directly on your dashboard in real time. And with Meta Ads and Google Analytics now feeding into the same formula builder as your CRM data, cross-channel performance is finally visible in one place.
