Xero Sync Now Lets You Filter Which Contacts Come Into ESC Hub
When you connect Xero to ESC Hub, every active contact has previously synced in automatically - customers, suppliers, vendors, and all. Your CRM ended up with contacts you never needed mixed in with the ones you did. That is no longer the case.
What's changed
Two new settings are now available on the Xero connection screen that give you precise control over which contacts sync and where they land.
The first setting lets you choose which contacts come into ESC Hub. You can pull in all contacts, customers only, suppliers only, or one or more specific Xero contact groups.
The second setting controls how suppliers are handled. You can sync them as standard contacts alongside your customers, or split them by type so suppliers route to business records rather than your main contact list.
Both settings default to the original behaviour - your existing Xero integration is unaffected until you actively choose to change something.
To update your preferences, go to Payments - Invoices and Estimates - Accounting Sync, click Manage on your Xero account, and configure the contact sync settings.

Why it matters
A CRM contact list that includes suppliers, vendors, and contacts you never intended to market to is harder to segment, filter, and trust. Controlling which Xero contacts sync - and keeping suppliers separate from customers when needed - means your contact list reflects the people who actually matter to your business.
