Schedule Your Ask AI Prompts to Run on Their Own, Right From Your Phone

August 19, 2026

Up to now, every Ask AI prompt needed you in the chat. Want a summary of yesterday's new contacts, or a look at next Monday's appointments? You had to open your phone and type it out, every single morning.

Now you can save the prompt once, tell it how often to run, and let your assistant get on with it. The next time you pick up your phone, the finished answer is waiting.

What you get

The Ask AI Scheduler turns any prompt into a recurring task. You can pick from five frequencies - Manual, Hourly, Daily, Weekdays, or Weekly with your choice of day and time.

You stay in full control. Create, edit, pause, resume, or delete a task straight from your phone. Fire one off on the spot with Run now, even if it's paused. And every run is logged in a history with Completed, Skipped, or Failed status, timestamps, and an unread dot so you can see at a glance what you haven't looked at yet.

Tap any completed run and the full Ask AI conversation opens in chat, exactly as if you'd asked it yourself.

How to set up your first task

Open Ask AI in the ESC Hub mobile app, then tap the recurring-clock icon in the Ask AI header. You'll find it from both the bottom sheet and the full-screen view.

Tap + New task to get started. Give it a name, add an optional description, and paste in the prompt you want to run.

Now choose how often it should run - Manual, Hourly, Daily, Weekdays, or Weekly - and set the time. If you pick Weekly, you'll also choose the day. Then create the task.

That's it. Your task now runs automatically on the cadence you set.

Keeping an eye on your runs

Open any task to pause or resume it, tap Run now for an immediate result, or review its run history. Scheduled runs also get their own Scheduled section in Chat History, kept separate from your Recents - so the automated runs never bury the conversations you started yourself.

A couple of handy notes

This works on both iOS and Android, and it's fully cross-platform with the web. A task you create on your phone shows up on the desktop scheduler and vice versa, with shared run history across both.

Think about the one prompt you type out every morning. Save it as a task tonight, set it for 7 AM, and tomorrow the answer's already there with your coffee.
