Your Rental Booking Page Just Got Clearer Checkout, Custom Buttons and Full Descriptions

August 20, 2026

If you rent anything out through your account - rooms, equipment, spaces, gear - a handful of small changes just landed that make the whole booking flow feel more polished and easier for your customers to trust.

Nothing to install for most of it. A few things are simply better now, and one you can customise in a minute.

Name your own booking button

When you have the multi-item cart switched on, you're no longer stuck with a generic "Add to cart" label. You can now set your own wording so the button speaks in your voice - "Reserve this", "Add to booking", whatever fits your business.

To set it up, go to Global settings, then the Booking page tab, and turn on Multi-item cart. That reveals the "Add to booking button label" field.

Type in your label, save, and it shows on the booking page straight away. In the screenshot below you can see the custom label live on the page.

One thing worth knowing: this button only appears when multi-item cart is on. If you're taking single bookings, nothing changes for you.

Rental dates now show all the way through checkout

This one removes a real moment of doubt. The dates and times a customer is booking now appear in the Order Summary at checkout, so they can see exactly what they're paying for before they hand over any money.

It's a small detail that does a lot of reassuring. Fewer "wait, is this the right date?" hesitations means fewer people dropping off at the last step.

Full descriptions, no more clicking Read more

Listing descriptions on your detail pages now show in full and expanded by default. Guests can read everything about your listing without hunting for a "Read more" link, and it's been tidied up on mobile too.

Your cart stays put while browsing

Ever had a customer start a booking, click your logo to look at something else, and lose the whole thing? That's fixed. The cart now stays intact even when someone clicks the company logo to head back to the home page, so an in-progress booking survives a bit of browsing.

A few extra tidy-ups

There's also a round of general polish: text on home page cards wraps properly instead of cropping words, the redundant single-quantity label is gone from the Booking Summary and confirmation screens, and there are various smaller visual fixes across the flow.

The button label is the only piece you need to touch - everything else is already live on your rental listings. Have a click through your own booking flow and see how much cleaner it feels.
