How It Works

Instagram Stories still need to be published inside Instagram itself.
That part has not changed.

What has changed is how easy it is to remember, prepare, and publish them on time.

Inside the Social Planner, you can now schedule Instagram Stories just like any other post. Instead of auto-publishing, the system sends you a push notification at the scheduled time.

That notification opens everything you need to finish the post natively in Instagram.

No alarms.
No sticky notes.
No “I’ll do it later” moments that never happen.

How to Use It

1. Go to Social Planner and create a new post.

2. Select Instagram Story as the post type.

3. Choose Publish via Push Notification.

4. Upload your media and add your caption.

5. Add optional notes for whoever will publish the Story.

6. Schedule it like normal.

At the scheduled time, a push notification is sent to your phone.

Tap the notification and it will:

• Load the Story media on your phone

• Copy the caption to your clipboard

• Open Instagram so you can publish instantly

Why This Matters

Instagram Stories work best when they feel native.
Music. Stickers. Links. Polls. Trending audio.

Those features only exist inside Instagram.

This update gives you the best of both worlds:

• You can plan ahead instead of scrambling

• You still publish natively, exactly how Instagram intends

• You never miss a Story because you forgot

For teams, it also removes confusion about who is posting and when. Everything is scheduled, visible, and prompted at the right time.
