Managing Contacts From Your Phone Just Got a Lot Easier
You're standing in the lobby, phone in hand, and you need to pull up a guest, fire off a message, or fix a phone number. Until now, doing that on your phone meant tapping through more menus than it was worth.
That's been sorted. Contacts in the mobile app has been rebuilt from the list all the way to the profile card, so the things you do most are now one tap or one swipe away.
A cleaner list to start from
Open Contacts and you'll land on a refreshed list with a new header, search right at the top, and a smart list picker so you can jump between your lists without hunting for them.
Empty states have been tidied up too, so when a list has nothing in it, you'll know straight away instead of wondering if something failed to load.
Swipe to act, no extra taps
This is the part you'll use every day. Swipe left on any contact in the list and you get quick actions right there - Call, Message, Share, Delete, and More.
Tap More and you can copy their name, email, phone, address, or all their details in one go. No opening the profile, no scrolling, just grab what you need and move on.
A profile card you can actually scan
Tap into a contact and the profile card has been redesigned to show the avatar, owner, followers, and tags in one clean layout. Everything you'd glance at first is now in one place.
The Edit button sits front and center in the header, so making a change is a single tap. Next to it is a menu for Share, Do Not Disturb, and Delete when you need it.
Find and edit fields without the dig
The Details tab is where the bigger changes live. You can now search within a contact's fields and folders, so finding one specific value doesn't mean scrolling past everything else.
There are filters too - show all fields, hide the empty ones, or show only the empty ones when you're filling in gaps. Tap any field to edit it inline, right where it sits.
Folders are expandable, with search highlighting and tap-to-edit on any field. You can copy values or open an address straight in Maps. So a folder isn't just somewhere fields live, it's somewhere you can work from.
Tabs that tell you what's pending
Across the top of a contact you'll find Activity, Tasks, Notes, Appointments, Payments, Docs & Files, and Opportunities - all updated to match the rest of the app.
Tasks and Opportunities now show counts right on the tab, so you can see at a glance what's still waiting on you without opening each one.
Creating and editing, cleaned up
The create and edit forms got the same treatment - a refreshed tag editor, Do Not Disturb settings, automations, and profile photo options all in one flow. Add, update, or remove a contact's photo straight from your camera or gallery.
How to get started
- Open Contacts and browse or search for someone.
- Swipe left on a contact for quick actions like Call, Message, and Share.
- Tap a contact to open the profile, then use the Edit button in the header.
- Under Details, tap any field to edit it inline, and use search and filters to show or hide empty values.
One more thing worth knowing: the field order and hidden fields you set up on web will soon flow through to mobile too, so your contacts look the same everywhere.
It's all live now on iOS and Android. Open it up and have a swipe through your list - it'll feel quicker straight away.
