Let Customers Browse by Category Before Booking a Service
If you offer multiple services, your booking page can get overwhelming fast. A customer lands on the page, sees a long list of everything you offer, and has to work out where to start. The more services you have, the harder that gets.
A new Category-First Booking flow is now available inside ESC Hub's Services settings.
Instead of landing straight on a list of services, customers now start by selecting a category - Hair, Spa, Wellness, or whatever categories you've set up. Once they choose a category, they see only the services within it. Cleaner, faster, and far less overwhelming.
What's Included
Category-first booking flow - start the booking experience with category selection instead of a full service list
Configurable setup - enable this from Global Settings > Booking Page based on how your business is structured
Services scoped to category - customers only see services within the selected category, reducing clutter
Improved navigation - customers can go back and choose the same or a different category at any point
Category images - add images to make categories more visual and engaging
Category descriptions - provide context to help customers understand what each category includes
Clean card-based layout - categories are displayed in an easy-to-browse format
Auto-hidden empty categories - categories without services are automatically hidden so your booking page always looks tidy



How to Enable It
Head to Global Settings > Booking Page inside your ESC Hub account. The category-first flow is fully optional - if you don't enable it, your booking page continues to start with service selection exactly as it does now. Nothing changes unless you choose to turn it on.
Why It Matters
The easier it is for a customer to find the right service, the more likely they are to complete a booking. A category-first flow reduces the decision load at the start of the process - especially for businesses with a broad range of services - and creates a more structured, intuitive experience from the first click.
