Bring Your HubSpot Data Straight Into ESC Hub - No CSV Juggling

August 14, 2026

If you're moving over from HubSpot, you know the old drill. Export a CSV, clean it up, map the columns, import, then do it all again for the next lot of data. Contacts one file, deals another, notes lost somewhere along the way.

There's now a much simpler path. You can connect your HubSpot account directly and pull your important data straight into ESC Hub, no spreadsheets required.

What you can bring over

The new HubSpot importer handles the pieces that actually matter when you switch systems:

  • Contacts
  • Deals, which come in as Opportunities
  • Companies
  • Contact, Company and Deal properties, brought in as Custom Fields
  • Pipelines and their stages
  • Notes, Emails and Tasks
  • Supported associations between records

So your setup doesn't just arrive as a flat list of names. Your pipelines, custom fields and activity history come along with it.

How to run your import

Start from Contacts, Companies, or Opportunities, depending on what you're importing, then click Import.

Choose Connect HubSpot and sign in to your HubSpot account when prompted.

Once you're connected, pick the objects and data you want to bring across. You're in full control here - only import what you actually need.

You'll see record counts for each object, and you can drill in to choose specific properties rather than dragging everything over.

When it looks right, click Confirm and start the import. This is the best part - it keeps running in the background, so you can leave the page and get on with your day. Come back later and check on it.

Checking your results

The Import History table shows every import, in progress or finished, so you can track how things went.

For any completed import you can see totals for successful, skipped, failed and warning records, review results by object or by individual record, and filter by status. If something didn't come through, you'll get a clear error message telling you why. You can also download the full results as a CSV if you want to review it properly.

A few things worth knowing

  • Existing matching records won't be overwritten, so you won't lose anything you've already set up.
  • Imported HubSpot emails come in as read-only.
  • To bring deals in as Opportunities, their associated contacts need to be imported too.
  • It's smart to test your first import in a new or non-live account before running it on your main one.

Switching systems is usually the bit people dread. This takes most of the manual work out of it, so you can get your data in and get back to running your business.
