If you build custom product detail pages in ESC Hub, you have previously had to enter product information manually into each page element. That changes with this update.

What's changed

Product-related custom values are now available for use on Product Detail Pages and Custom Product Detail Pages inside the Store Builder. You can insert tokens for product name, description, product type, label, ratings, price, SKU, stock status, subscription details, and shipping dimensions directly into supported text elements - headings, sub-headings, paragraphs, bullet lists, and rich text.

The values pull from the product record automatically, so when a customer switches between variants, the price, SKU, stock status, and subscription details update in real time to match.

Product custom values are available under the Product section in the Custom Values picker inside the page editor.

A few things worth noting: these values only work on Product Detail Pages and Custom Product Detail Pages. They will not work on product listing pages, checkout pages, landing pages, funnels, blogs, or other non-product-detail page types. Unsupported or missing values render as blank rather than displaying broken tokens.

Why it matters

Manually maintaining product information across custom page elements is time-consuming and prone to inconsistency. Pulling that data dynamically from the product record means your pages stay accurate automatically - including when variants are selected.
