Your Dashboards and Custom Reports Get a Cleaner, More Consistent Look
A quick heads-up: this one's in Labs
It's an early feature you turn on yourself in Settings > Labs inside your account. It works, but it's still in development - the documentation and support is limited and not everything will behave perfectly yet.
If you like getting your hands on new things early, switch it on and have a play. If you'd rather wait for the finished, fully-supported version, leave it off and we'll let you know when it lands.
If you've ever clicked between your dashboards and reports and felt like the buttons, spacing and dropdowns didn't quite match, this one's for you. Everything in Dashboards and Custom Reports now follows the same visual style, so nothing looks out of place as you move around.
What's changed
This is a look-and-feel refresh, not a shuffle of your data. Your numbers, charts and setups all stay exactly where they are.
- The header, navigation, breadcrumbs, side panel and pop-up windows all share one clean, unified style.
- Every chart and widget - numeric, bar, donut, line, table, funnel and more - now has consistent loading states, error states and card styling.
- Advanced filters, the quick filter panel and the date picker all look the same across dashboards and reports.
- The custom metric builder, including the formula builder and filter panel, has a tidier, more consistent layout.
- The report builder, report list, schedule page and clone or duplicate flows line up neatly from end to end.
- The widget AI summary, plus the Google Ads, Facebook and Google Analytics widgets, are all part of the update.
How it works
Once it's on, the refreshed look loads automatically the next time you open Dashboards or Custom Reports. There's nothing to rebuild.
All your existing dashboards, reports, widgets, filters and custom metrics stay exactly as they were. You'll just notice things looking more polished and aligned - spacing, typography, dropdowns and tooltips all matching up as you go.
A couple of things to know
If you've added your own custom CSS styling to a dashboard, it's worth a quick review. Because the underlying components have been tidied up, some of your custom styles may need a small tweak to keep working the way you expect.
You may also spot minor spacing differences here and there. That's expected as part of getting everything to line up. If something looks genuinely off, there's a feedback button so you can flag it.
Have a look through your dashboards with fresh eyes - it's the same reports you rely on, just easier on the eye.
