Browsing through rental listings one by one to check availability is not a great experience for customers. ESC Hub has added date filtering to the Rentals Booking Page so only relevant listings show from the start.

What's changed

Customers can now select a Start Date and End Date directly on the Rentals Booking Page before browsing. Once both dates are selected, the page automatically filters to show only the listings that are available for the chosen date range. When a customer opens a listing, the booking details are pre-filled with the selected dates - so they do not have to enter them again.

The date filter works across all booking modes - date selector, date and time selector, and fixed duration listings - with each type applying its own availability rules before showing a result. All standard booking rules including availability, inventory, lead time, buffers, duration requirements, and advance booking limits are respected before a listing appears.

Why it matters

Showing customers a full list of rentals and making them check each one individually for availability adds friction at exactly the wrong moment. Filtering by date upfront means customers see only what is actually bookable for their dates - and arrive at the listing page with their details already in place.
