Your Clients Can Now Book and Manage Appointments Inside the Client Portal

August 18, 2026

Booking used to mean sending clients off to a separate link, then fielding the emails when they needed to change something. Now it all lives in one place.

Your clients can book, view, reschedule, and cancel their appointments directly inside the Client Portal - no switching between emails, booking links, or other tools.

What your clients can now do

Once you switch this on, clients get a proper appointments area inside their portal.

They can see everything in one place, with Today, Upcoming, and Past views, plus a full calendar view. Each appointment shows the date, time, and status, so nothing gets lost.

They can book a new appointment without leaving the portal. Their contact details are filled in automatically, so there's no retyping the same information every time.

If you've made more than one calendar available, they choose which one they want to book with.

After an appointment is done, there's a Book Again option so they can line up the next one in seconds.

And for eligible appointments, they can reschedule or cancel themselves, without having to contact you separately.

You stay in control

You decide exactly what's on offer. You can enable one calendar or several, choose which ones clients get to pick from, and turn the whole Appointments experience on or off through the portal's app permissions.

How to turn it on

There are two quick parts to this. First you make a calendar bookable, then you switch on the Appointments app.

Step 1: Enable a calendar for portal booking

Go to Calendars, then Calendar Settings, then Meetings, then Calendars. Open the calendar you want to make available.

Inside Edit Calendar, go to Booking Channels, turn on Client Portal booking, and click Save changes. Repeat this for every calendar you want clients to be able to book.

Step 2: Enable the Appointments app

Go to Memberships, then Client Portal, then Settings, then App Permissions. Turn on Appointments and save.

That's it. Clients will now see Appointments inside their portal and can start viewing and booking straight away.

One note: this lives in the new Client Portal look, so make sure you're on that to see it.

Go and switch on a calendar or two, and let your clients take booking off your plate.
