How It Works
Workflows can now generate AI responses directly using OpenRouter, without sending data out to third-party automation tools.
This update allows workflows to send prompts to an AI model, receive a generated response, and reuse that output across multiple workflow steps. You can choose from multiple AI models based on speed, quality, or cost, and control how each response behaves using system instructions and workflow variables.
The result is real-time, flexible AI output that lives entirely inside your automation logic.
How to Use It
Open Workflows and add a new action.
Search for and select OpenRouter.
Choose Generate Response.
Select the AI model you want to use.
Enter your prompt and optional system instructions.
Map the AI response to custom fields, messages, or follow-up actions.
Test the action before publishing.
