Add an llms.txt to Your Site So AI Search Can Actually Find You
AI search is here, and it reads your site differently to a human. Tools like ChatGPT, and audits like Google PageSpeed's new Agentic Browsing check, go looking for a small file called llms.txt at the root of your site to work out what you actually do.
If it isn't there, AI agents have to guess, you can fail those newer audits, and you show up less in AI-powered search.
Now you can add one straight from your account, no code, no developer.
What landed
Each of your connected domains can now have its own llms.txt file, managed right inside the Edit Domain settings. Once you save it, the system publishes it automatically at https://yourdomain.com/llms.txt.
Think of it as a plain, tidy map of your site written for AI to read. It tells AI agents what your business is, what your pages are for, and how it all fits together.
A few things worth knowing:
- It's hosted for you. Save your content and the file goes live at your domain instantly.
- You edit it in the app. No files to upload, no FTP, no fiddling.
- It passes the newer AI and audit checks like Google PageSpeed's Agentic Browsing check out of the box.
- It's per domain. Run more than one site? Give each one its own llms.txt tailored to that business.
How to set it up
Head to Funnels & Websites in your account, then go to Settings and open Domains.
Pick the domain you want to work on and open its Edit Domain settings. In the screenshot below, you'll see where your domain lives and the settings you can open from here.

Scroll down to the llms.txt section. This is where you add or edit the content of your file. You can write a short, clear description of your site, your main pages, and what each one is for. In the screenshot below, you'll see the editing area where your site map content goes.

When you're happy, hit Save. That's it - your file is live at https://yourdomain.com/llms.txt right away, and you can pop back in to update it any time your site changes.
It's a small file that does a lot of work behind the scenes. Add one to each of your live domains and let AI search understand your business the way you'd explain it yourself.
